The MAX5888AEGK+TD is a low-power, wide-voltage digital-to-analog converter (DAC) application field intended for use in data acquisition (DAQ) systems, industrial automation systems and instrumentation gear. This device is based on a fast, low-noise, 4-quadrant multiplying DAC (MDAC) core. This MDAC core is integrated with a 10-bit, low-noise DAC array, providing the user enhanced performance relative to devices using traditional string DACs.

The main feature of this device is the low power consumption and wide power supply range (2.7V to 5.5V). The MAX5888AEGK+TD also offers a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 105°C – making it ideal for applications in harsh or extreme environments. Its built-in amplifier and auto-zero circuit ensures performance and stability regardless of the source of power supply or load impedance.

It offers a maximum output authority of 10V PEAK to PEAK with a full-scale gain range from 0.25V/V to 20V/V.

The MAX5888AEGK+TD also offers configurable input clippers and digital gain controls within the device.
