Application Field of MAX6615AEE+

The MAX6615AEE+ is an on-chip temperature and power management solution. It integrates a temperature-sensitive logic circuit, a fan or heat sink control circuit, a configurable power control circuit and an adjustable voltage reference. The device is ideal for fast system thermal protection, fan control and power supply monitoring applications.

The MAX6615AEE+ PMIC - Thermal Management is designed for CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, ASICs, DSPs, FMCs and other electronics with high power and processing requirements. Its integrated thermal tuning circuit can be used to optimize the thermal performance of the system by dynamically adjusting the fan speed or output power based on the temperature of the system. This integrated circuit is also suitable for other applications in which switching device control is required to optimize the temperature of the product.

Working Principle of MAX6615AEE+

The MAX6615AEE+ PMIC - Thermal Management device operates through its thermal tuning circuit, which monitors the junction temperature of the device and then adjusts the output of the fan speed or power input in order to optimize the thermal performance of the system. The junction temperature is detected through the internal temperature sensing circuit, which is accessed through a temperature-sensitive logic inputs.
