PMIC - Voltage Reference

The MAX6126BASA25+T is a precision 6-bit voltage reference family of ultra-low noise, low-dropout voltage references for applications with very stringent voltage accuracy requirements. Offered in a variety of precisions and temperature calibrations from 0.6V to 5.25V, these low-noise devices make the ideal choice for applications including medical instrumentation, automatic test equipment and other systems that may require low noise and accurate but low power voltage references.

Working Principle:

The MAX6126BASA25+T voltage references provide a stable DC output voltage that does not drift with changes in temperature and line. Unlike a Zener diode, it does not require a minimum voltage differential across it in order to maintain its output voltage. This makes the MAX6126BASA25+T an ideal choice for applications that require low-noise and low-dropout performance in addition to extremely accurate and stable output voltages. It is available in both SOT-23 and SOT-23-5 packages.

The MAX6126BASA25+T features a precision 6-bit resistor-stabilized ladder architecture to provide a stable DC output voltage. The device includes a built-in reference trim resistor to provide a precise reference voltage. This reference voltage is amplified by the internal circuit to achieve a stable output voltage over the operating temperature range. The device is specified over the extended temperature range of -40°C to +85°C.
