The MAX6675EVKIT evaluation board features various components, such as input connectors, LEDs, temperature sensors, a power module, and a heat sink for heat dissipation. These components allow for intuitive configuration and an easy connection to a wide range of devices.The evaluation board includes a number of housing options, such as 0.1” pitch headers, jumper wires, and ribbon cables, that allow designers to adapt the board for use in a wide range of scenarios. The board also features various power source options to provide power to the MAX6675 temperature sensor chip.The MAX6675EVKIT operates on two basic principles: thermoelectricity and resistance. Thermoelectricity Principle: Thermoelectricity is a phenomenon in which a voltage is generated when two metals with different electric potentials are connected. In the MAX6675EVKIT, the thermocouple junction is formed between two different metals, which would be either chromel and alumel or copper and constantan. The junction of these two metals generates a voltage that is directly proportional to the temperature difference at the two junctions.
