Working Principle of MAX6687AU75H+T

The MAX6687AU75H+T device combines on-chip temperature sensor, thermal limit comparator, and patrol functions in a single 16-pin package. The internal temperature sensor contains an on-chip resistor that changes with temperature, allowing for accurate temperature measurement. This device takes a voltage-proportional signal from its thermal sensor that is proportional to temperature and compares it to preset high and low warning/critical temperatures set in the MAX6687EUA register.
