Temperature sensing is very important for many industrial, commercial, and consumer applications, and the MAX6692MSA+ from Maxim Integrated is a versatile analog-output temperature sensor, ideal for monitoring ambient temperatures in these various applications. The MAX6692MSA+ combines temperature monitoring, alerting, and precision analog temperature measurement into a single integrated circuit. The MAX6692MSA+ uses a thermistor sensing element, which is a type of resistor whose resistive value changes with temperature.
