MAX800MCPE: PMIC Supervisors

Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) Supervisors are used to monitor and protect the microcontroller-controlled system (MCU) from unexpected faults and high voltage transients. The MAX800MCPE on-chip supervisor is a small, low-power, integrated circuit which optimally monitors a variety of fault conditions, provides system power fail and low power sources, and drives a reset warning flag. Additionally, it derives one or more external reset inputs and two method-of-operation (MOP) signals, and enables debouncing and sampling of up to four system control buttons.
