MAX807LCWE+T is a high-performance, single-supply Voltage Supervisor with an internal reset circuit and Power-On Reset. The device is designed to operate over its operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, and is available in an elongated 8-pin SOP package. The MAX807LCWE+T is a Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) that provides optimum performance in applications that require a high level of control, such as in computing systems, communication systems, and consumer electronic devices. The MAX807LCWE+T features a high-precision voltage supervisor with separate trip points for reset and power-on reset, as well as adjustable reset and brownout trip points. The MAX807LCWE+T also has a VBAT monitor and an adjustable Brownout Detector (BOD) function. The MAX807LCWE+T provides reset assertion based on input, reset and power-on reset events. When the voltage on either of these pins is below its preset trip point, the MAX807LCWE+T asserts a reset signal. The reset signal can also be used to control the On/Off switch of a supply, thus allowing a system to be safely switched On or Off. The MAX807LCWE+T has an internal voltage reference that is adjustable to the desired reset trip point. The standard reset trip point of the MAX807LCWE+T is 1.9V but can be adjusted to any value within a range of 1V to 4.6V. The reset signal can either be asserted/de-asserted manually or automatically as per the input voltage.
