The MAX818LEPA+ is a low-power, precision supervisory circuit for monitoring system voltages and controlling system power-up reset. It is capable of seamlessly and accurately supervising a wide range of voltages in a variety of applications, including single and multiple supply sources, in automotive, consumer and industrial systems. It is one of the most versatile and reliable supervisors available, and is ideally suited for a variety of portable and critical voltage-monitoring applications.

The MAX818LEPA+ provides ultra-low power consumption coupled with tight regulation and fast response time. It features reducing user circuit complexity and eliminating the need for additional voltage monitoring regulators and separate reset logic, saving both cost and space. The MAX818LEPA+ is housed in a tiny, 1.6 mm x 1.3 mm, 8-pin, Thin QFN (TQFN) package, making it one of the most compact single-/dual-supply supervisors in the market.

The MAX818LEPA+ is a precision, dual-voltage supervisor with integrated logic and reset types. It provides reset output with maximum accuracy and response time and a reset factors of 20 μA, with both supply pins connected. The reset output is always active when the voltage at any of the input pins falls below the predetermined thresholds. It also provides protection against under-voltage as well as over-voltage conditions, with a threshold down to 0.8V for VCC and 0.4V for VBAT.
