When the voltage at the manual reset input (MR) is pulled high (to the power supply rail), the MAX8213BCSE de-asserts the reset signal.

In Open-Drain Manual Reset (ODMR) mode, the MAX8213BCSE can be used with an active-low external reset. It is configured to assert an open-drain signal when its input PWR drops below the specified threshold. In order to de-assert the open-drain configuration, an external active-low signal must be applied to the manual reset input.

In Reset/Open-Drain Reset (ROR) mode, the MAX8213BCSE has two outputs. The reset output is an active-low signal, whereas the open-drain output has an open-drain configuration. Both outputs are de-asserted when the voltage at its input PWR rises above the specified threshold.
