MAX8213BESE+

The MAX8213BESE+ is an ultra-low-power, integrated, adjustable power-on-reset (POR) supervisor device for monitoring system voltage levels. It protects against excessive voltage levels and undershoots by resetting the system when the threshold is crossed. The device features an adjustable reset threshold in the 1.2V-2.2V range, adjustable reset timeout (0.2sec-2.7sec), push-button reset, manual reset input (MR), and open drain power-good (PG) output. The MAX8213BESE+ is available in 5-pin SOT23 and WDFN packages, and it is specified for the -40°C to +85°C automotive temperature range.

The device detects supply voltages in the 1.2 to 2.2V range and provides a reset output when the supply voltage drops below the factory-set reset threshold voltage. The reset output is asserted within 110μs (typical) after the supply drops below the reset threshold voltage. An internal TIMEOUT circuit offers power-up delay protection against false reset activations caused by power supply transients.The MAX8213BESE+ offers a manual reset input with glitch protection that allows the user to assert a reset to the system independent of the voltage levels. The MR pin must be maintained asserted for at least 250μs to ensure complete resetting of the system.
