The MAX9063EVKIT is an evaluation and demonstration board and kit used to develop and evaluate circuit designs for maximum performance and accuracy; its primary application field is in medical, industrial, and computing power systems. The MAX9063EVKIT consists of a main board, an optional extender board, and an optional evaluation board consisting of both waveform generation and test points. It provides the flexibility and scalability needed to develop system-level solutions for demanding applications.
The MAX9063EVKIT allows the user to perform component-level testing or circuit-level system evaluation for a broad range of medical, industrial and computing power systems. The main board contains two power supply regulators for controlling and measuring different system voltages, two comparators for detecting component fault conditions, two analog-to-digital converters for measuring system parameters, and eighteen analog inputs for measuring test points. The optional extender board allows for two additional comparators, sixteen additional analog inputs, and one additional analog-to-digital converter.
The evaluation board provides waveform generation from various voltage sources, ranging from 0.5 to 45 volts, as well as test points for system integrity testing and component evaluation. The evaluation board also includes power source-measurement-mode (PSMM) capacitors, system ground-signal-voltage-sink (GVS) capacitors, and test points to perform power switching measurements. The MAX9063EVKIT also comes with dedicated software for experimenting with and troubleshooting circuit designs. The user can access a variety of real-time system response measurements, including input voltage, output voltage, frequencies, current, power, and temperature.
