Working Principle: The MAX9124EUE+T family operates in 4 modes: transmit, receive, auto-detect, and separately-powered LVDS mode. In transmit mode, the MAX9124EUE+T drives a differential line with 500mA. It also features a differential PECL output with 1mA current. In receive mode, the MAX9124EUE+T monitors the differential line voltage with an input impedance of 200ohm. Auto-detect mode allows the MAX9124EUE+T to detect data transitions on the differential line and also provides signal termination. Separately-powered LVDS mode allows the MAX9124EUE+T to use a compatible LVDS transmitter to drive the outgoing differential line.
