The MAX9175EUB+T is an interface signal buffer, repeater, splitter, and isolator that strengthens signal propagation over long distances. It is, in effect, an active version of shielded twisted-pair (STP) cables. The MAX9175EUB+T architecture is designed for data rates as high as 1.5 Mbps in a wide variety of applications.

The MAX9175EUB+T provides galvanic isolation of the digital signal between two systems, as well as EMI noise and protection against excessive input power. The device\'s low propagation delay ensures a quick data transfer. It operates over a wide temperature range, from -40°C to 85°C.

The MAX9175EUB+T isolator package is composed of two chips: an oscillator (T) and a field programmable array (FPGA). The oscillator produces a clock signal that is used to synchronize all incoming data; the oscillator can run at a frequency of up to 1.5 Mbps. The FPGA, or logic core, is used to divide and amplify the incoming data, and send out two streams at different levels.

In the MAX9175EUB+T architecture, the data stream coming from the source is amplified and passed through the FPGA, which has the ability to divide the incoming data into two parts, referred to as “A” and “B”. The A stream is amplified by a factor of two, while the B stream has a linear gain of -6 dB. The resulting digital signal is then outputted at two distinct levels, which helps minimize interference and improve signal reliability.

The FPGA also includes a digital isolator that is used to filter out any noise in the incoming signal. This isolator also blocks any excessive electrical charge, further enhancing signal integrity. In addition, the MAX9175EUB+T is capable of providing power to other devices to make use of the FPGA’s clock and data channels.

The MAX9175EUB+T comes with a long list of features including low jitter, low power consumption, and an adjustable data rate. It is suitable for clock and data synchronization in a wide range of applications, including communication systems, network hardware, industrial control systems, and motion control systems.
