The MAX9201ESE+ is a single, low-power, rail-to-rail comparator with an inverting input and a non-inverting input optimized for low-voltage operation. It belongs to Linear-Comparators family, which are analog comparators used to compare two voltages and output a digital signal based on their relationship.

These comparators are highly popular in applications such as power-supply monitoring, motor control, over-current protection and fault detection.
