The MAX9213EUM+TD is a type of high-performance, serializer-deserializer (serdes) IC, allowing for serial data transmission between two digital systems. The serdes technology enables data transmission in a very short period of time, as the data is transmitted in a serial format over the two digital systems, instead of being transferred in a parallel format. This IC component includes a differential transmitter, a differential receiver and an input-output (I/O) controller. It is designed for high data rate applications such as camera interface, display port, Ethernet and HDMI.

The MAX9213EUM+TD serializes the data from the input source and then sends it out to the receiver via its differential transmitter.
