MAX9223ETI+T is an adaptive, low-power Ser/Des that supports a variety of high-speed differential data standards, such as Gigabit Ethernet (1Gbps). Working Principle. The working principle of the MAX9223ETI+T is based on Manchester codes.The Ser/Des encodes the incoming data stream into a series of pulses. At the receiver end, the pulses are decoded back into the original data stream.The Ser/Des integrates Adaptive Features, such as Sync-Detect, that provides a mechanism to automatically detect and recover from clock/data synchronizations and quick reaction to clock/data disturbances.The Ser/Des offers integrated architecture to adapt to different data rates, structures and jitter models.
In addition, the Ser/Des supports LVDS, FPD-Link III, SMPTE-424M, and 802.3 standards for the communication. It uses low-jitter equalization techniques to improve the receiving performance in noisy environment. The Ser/Des is also capable of managing inter-symbol interference and eliminating jitter to reduce packet errors. In addition, it supports data loopback support that can be used to check data integrity.
