MAX9246EUM+ is a low-cost, high performance, octal/quad differential receiver with configurable round trip cable delay. It supports multiple standard data rates including 1Gbps, 2.5Gbps, 3.125Gbps, and 6.25Gbps. With its low power consumption, the MAX9246EUM+ is ideal for a wide variety of applications.
The MAX9246EUM+ includes an enable input, which can be used to reduce total system power consumption when multiple differential channels are used. The enable function can be configured such that it is disabled or enabled for all or any combination of differential channels. When enabled, the MAX9246EUM+ is fully compliant with the SFF-8431 (Small Form-factor Pluggable) and SFF-8432 (Twinaxial) specifications.
