MAX9246EUM+ is a low-cost, high performance, octal/quad differential receiver with configurable round trip cable delay. It supports multiple standard data rates including 1Gbps, 2.5Gbps, 3.125Gbps, and 6.25Gbps. With its low power consumption, the MAX9246EUM+ is ideal for a wide variety of applications.

The MAX9246EUM+ includes an enable input, which can be used to reduce total system power consumption when multiple differential channels are used. The enable function can be configured such that it is disabled or enabled for all or any combination of differential channels. When enabled, the MAX9246EUM+ is fully compliant with the SFF-8431 (Small Form-factor Pluggable) and SFF-8432 (Twinaxial) specifications. This enables the MAX9246EUM+ to be used in a variety of high speed communication applications, such as Fibre Channel, Infiniband, and 10-gigabit Ethernet.

The MAX9246EUM+ is designed to detect and perform digital data recovery of single-ended and differential signals.
