The MAX9654EVKIT+ is an evaluation and demonstration board and kit designed to aid in the testing and experimentation with the MAX9654 high-speed AC-coupled Analog Video® transmitter. This evaluation board offers quick benchmarking and evaluation of the MAX9654 chip in designs requiring a high-speed AC-coupled Analog Video interface. The MAX9654EVKIT+ board features all-digital control, visual indicators, an external test point, and integrated 2-port LVDS connector.

The MAX9654 is a quad output transmitters with an integrated AC-coupled Analog Video interface. The four outputs are the HSYNC, VSYNC, DE and RESET signals. The AC-coupling allows for a simpler interface when connecting video sources. The MAX9654 has four integrated analog video ports, a synchronization signal generator, an internal clock divider, an integrated video output mux, an adjustable blanking signal-to-video output skew, and DE regeneration support.

The MAX9654EVKIT+ board offers the user a simple approach to testing the MAX9654 chip. The board includes a single LVDS connector, a mux interface, an external test point, and optional input buffering.
