The MAX9725DETC+ operates on a single 1.8V supply and consumes just 10µA in its low-power shutdown mode.The MAX9725DETC+ is a stereo power amplifier, which means it amplifies both the left and the right audio channel signals. The MAX9725DETC+ can amplify both stereo audio signals up to 0.9V RMS on each channel, which is enough to drive 16-ohm headphones. The MAX9725DETC+ also features two gain states, so it can be used in both line-level and headphone applications.The MAX9725DETC+ operates in two different modes: class AB and power-save mode. In class AB mode, the amplifier can supply up to 5V peak-to-peak output level and 90mW of power per channel.
