The MAX9789CETJ+ is an ultra low voltage single ended class AB audio power amplifier from Maxim Integrated. It is designed to provide high quality analog audio output with low power consumption for portable audio applications such as mobile phones, media players and multimedia speakers. The amplifier can provide up to 23mW of continuous average output power into a 16Ω load and up to 3V of differential output swing. The control of the audio gain is done through a single pin in the system.The MAX9789CETJ+ is designed to operate with a 3V to 3.6V single supply voltage and with less than 1μA of quiescent current. It has a wide frequency response of 20Hz to 100kHz. The amplifier features a low harmonic distortion of 0.06% at 1kHz and 0.015% at 10kHz. The device also has an adjustable gain range that can be set anywhere between -29dB to +20dB.The MAX9789CETJ+ is well suited for low voltage, cost optimized applications such as mobile phones, portable multimedia players and multimedia speakers.
