The MAX98090AETL+ also features stereo headphone amplifiers with a digital-to-analog converter and includes a differential analog output providing the convenience to drive balanced line-in or headphone jacks. This audio interface is equipped to support 48 kHz synchronous TDM stream playback. Additionally, a capacitive ANC interface is included for supporting low-rate ANC algorithms; this highly advanced feature makes the MAX98090AETL+ great for headset and microphone applications, as well as sound system applications.
In terms of power management, the single-supply MAX98090AETL+ can operate off of a 2.5 V to 5.5 V supply and has a low-power shutdown feature that ensures an ultra-low power consumption of less than 5 µA. The MAX98090AETL+ also supports Flexible Power Supply (FPS) which allows users to draw current from a single cell Li-Ion coin cell battery.
The MAX98090AETL also incorporates a biometric finger gesture interface which can detect motion as light as 10 nA which is 30 times more sensitive than traditional CODECs. This feature is perfect for any user interface applications or wearables that require an increase in sensitivity for better user navigation.
The MAX98090AETL+ supports adaptive a Digital Noise Cancellation (DNC) algorithm that reduces the perceived voice problems that may result from background noise. This feature also supports an Echo Cancellation (EC) algorithm which helps to improve acoustic echo cancellation and reduce reversed transmission in a wide variety of environments.
