Two of the inverting pins, referred to as the input pin, measure the two voltages that are to be compared by the device, and an enable pin allows for the device to be disabled. Then, the reference pin provides the set point, or the limit which the device checks the input voltages against. If one voltage is greater, the output will be inverted; otherwise, it will remain in its non-inverting state.
