MAX9921EVKIT+ is an evaluation and demonstration board and kit developed by Maxim Integrated. It is primarily used for investigating, demonstrating, and evaluating the performance of the MAX9921/9922/9923 analog front-end integrated circuits. It provides a 16-channel capacitive-touch-based detection system. The MAX9921/22/23 device integrated on the daughter board senses the capacitance of the input, and the results can be monitored on the LCD display of the kit. The MAX9921/22/23 devices feature a wide operating voltage range (1.8V to 5.5V) and low-power operation, making them ideal for capacitive touch applications.

The MAX9921EVKIT+ also features a wide range of additional features. These features include an integrated library of firmware and software, adjustable compensation frequency, adjustable detection threshold, a temperature sensor, and a Power-On Self-Test (POST) feature. The integrated library allows the designer to access register settings, initialization routines, and algorithms to configure the MAX9921/22/23 devices. The temperature sensor eliminates the need for an external temperature compensation device.
