RF Evaluation and Development Kits, Boards are ubiquitous in research and development. A notable example is the MAX9988EVKIT application field and working principle. In addition to providing an intuitive user interface for evaluating the MAX9988, the MAX9988EVKIT includes several accessories that enable the kit to be used in a variety of applications. This includes an 8-bit GPIO port expander to extend the number of I/O pins available, as well as GPIOs for controlling relays and other control devices. A USB port is included, and it provides connection to computer systems for further evaluation of the device’s performance. Additionally, optional evaluation boards are available, such as boards for pulse-width modulation (PWM), synchronous rectification, and other power amplifiers.
