The MAXQ314-KIT Evaluation and Demonstration Boards and Kits provide an easy-to-use, cost-effective platform for development of embedded applications. It provides the capability to develop, test, debug, and evaluate the MAXQ314 microcontroller-based designs. This kit provides an extensive range of features and tools that enable users to explore all the features of the MAXQ314 MCU.The MAXQ314-KIT application field covers a wide range of applications such as industrial automation, Internet of Things (IoT), automotive, consumer electronics, medical, and any other embedded applications. It incorporates multiple peripherals and an advanced integrated development environment (IDE) to develop creative projects. The kit contains the MAXQ314 MCU, a total of 21 general-purpose I/O (GPIO) pins, two 64KB EEPROMs, as well as two 128KB SRAMs. In addition, the board is equipped with a RS-232 port, USB interface, real-time clock (RTC), prototyping area, and 5V and 3.3V power supplies.In terms of working principle, the MAXQ314-KIT is based on a MAXQ314 8-bit, 32MHz microcontroller from Maxim Integrated. It is a complete live-test platform that implements a powerful ARM Cortex-M4 processor, which provides high-performance computing and advanced peripheral controls. The ARM Cortex-M4 architecture reduces power consumption and provides added features such as data encryption and data compression.The kit also incorporates an integrated debug interface which provides users a real-time access to all system components, peripherals, and memory locations. In addition, the kit enables users to program and debug the board in a convenient manner by using the on-board jtag connector. Unlike other evaluation kits, the MAXQ314-KIT also integrates a convenient extension header with up to 21 GPIO pins, 2x 64KB EEPROMs, 2x 128KB SRAMs, and several other external memory slots. Furthermore, the ARM Core Mark feature revolutionizes embedded system developments by providing an easy-to-program and debug platform.The MAXQ314-KIT includes the MAXStudio IDE, which is a unique system-on-module based development environment. This powerful and comprehensive set of development tools offer users an easy and accelerated way to design and develop applications. Through this IDE, users can easily configure and debug their design without having to write a single line of code. The on-board MAXQ314 MCU is also supported with a special bootloader, which can be easily updated, even after the system has been deployed.The MAXQ314-KIT has the ability to enable users to build highly complex projects quickly and easily. With its comprehensive range of features and tools, it is an efficient and cost-effective solution for developing embedded applications.
