The MB2146-480-E board is an evaluation and demonstration board and kit, designed for compact signal processing and precise motor control applications. The board offers two on-board power modules, a Peltier module, a dual-channel, low-noise amplifier, up to 15MHz sample rate, and signal conditioning and signal-of-interest extraction. It also allows engineers to access parameters associated with various processes, thus allowing them to perform a wide range of tests. The board supports several types of signal processing, including digital-to-analog (D/A), analog-to-digital (A/D), frequency response (FRS), and frequency modulation (FM) filters. With the capacity to support the simultaneous analysis of multiple signals, the board enables engineers to access specific features of any signal and evaluate their design decisions. Furthermore, the board provides the engineers with the ability to prototype their solutions quickly, with minimal disruption to their designs.At the core of the board lies an embedded microcontroller, responsible for data acquisition and signal processing. It also provides programmable general-purpose inputs/outputs (GPI/O), as well as device-specific peripheral configuration. The potential applications for this board range from control systems to instrumentation systems, as its advanced capabilities allow for efficient and accurate data acquisition. With the inclusion of an on-board digital signal processor, engineers are able to design complex signal control algorithms in a fraction of the traditional time and cost. The board also includes a field oxide circuit (FOX) integrated circuit (IC), which provides a number of features specifically designed for use in the automotive industry. It includes hall effect sensors, voltage regulated power supply, first-order filter, capacitive transformer cores, and digital signal conditioning.
