MC100ES6011EJR2 is a versatile, point-to-point Clock/Timing Buffers, Drivers and Repeaters suitable for a variety of applications. The device consists of two separate, independent buffering stages for parallel clock/data inputs. The device features very low output-to-output skew, and can be used as a data/clock distribution system with output slew rate control.

Application field: The MC100ES6011EJR2 can be used for a wide range of applications, including interconnects between circuit boards or system modules, or to reduce cross-talk. The device is suitable for ultra-high speed clock/data distribution when skew and EMI/RFI considerations are critical. It can also be used as an isolation buffer and a repeater to increase signal integrity when increased electrical bandwidth is required. Furthermore, the device can be used as a buffer for low-voltage differential signals (LVDS) in a variety of high-performance applications.

Working principle:The MC100ES6011EJR2 is a point-to-point configuration clock buffering device with two parallel clock/data outputs. The device is designed to drive the two output clocks with low output-to-output skew and low jitter. The device features low output impedance, low power consumption, programmable delay and functional mode operation. The device is designed with a proprietary, adaptive loop compensation that reduces clock jitter while maintaining low output-to-output skew. The device is also designed to provide enhanced signal integrity by providing LVDS outputs with low-voltage swing and high drive current.

The device operates in frequency range from 4MHz to 400MHz. The operating temperature range is from 0 degree to 70 degree Celsius. The MC100ES6011EJR2 internal clock signal buffer utilizes a low-power, high-speed CMOS process with voltage-controlled pads for signal routing, and has a maximum propagation delay of 3.6ns (delay from Clock/Data inputs to the output clock signals). The device also features programmable output delays from 0ns to 3.2ns and from 0ns to 6.4ns for two independent output registers.

The device also features two independent output control registers for each output register. These registers provide programmable output slew rate control and output swing voltage selection.
