MC10H158MG is a quad 2:1 data selector/multiplexer with non-inverting three-state outputs designed for multiplexing data buses in applications requiring high speed performance. It is part of the Logic - Signal Switches, Multiplexers, Decoders category and allows data rates in excess of 200 MHz with performance superior to transmission line interfaces.The MC10H158MG integrates four 2:1 muxes and provides the user with the capability to multiplex two data buses. Each mux can alternately select and pass one of two input data buses to its output. The four muxes operate independently and each mux has two in and one out. The device is also ideal for data processing and data transfer when used with operational amplifiers.The chip includes four select pins (S1 to S4) that are active low, meaning a logic low signal on any select pin will select the corresponding input. A logic high signal on any select pin will enable the noninverting 3-state output. When all select pins are at a logic low, all outputs are enabled. Select input to the device is internally buffered, meaning it is connected to an integrated logic gate to ensure fast switching time.The MC10H158MG is a must-have in high-speed data processing applications, including communications, avionics, and computer systems.
