It is available in a variety of packages, including Plastic Dual In-Line Memory Modules (PDIPs), Ceramic Dual In-Line Memory Modules (CerDIPs), and Small Outline Packages (SOPs).The MC10H161MG has two separate 16-bit multiplexer and decoder circuits that can be used separately or together. The multiplexer circuit is designed to switch between two 16-bit input buses. It can accept 16-bit inputs, and route them to either of the two output buses. The multiplexer can also accept 8-bit input buses and route them to either of the two output buses. The multiplexer can be operated in either an active-high or an active-low mode.The decoder circuit is designed to select one of the 16 bits from each of the two input buses. The output of the decoder is active-high or active-low, depending on the state of the input pins. The decoder can be used with either active-high or active-low select signals. The decoder can also be used with an enable/disable pin.
