The MC14557BDWR2 is a high-speed CMOS 8-Bit Shift Register fabricated with silicon gate C2MOS technology. It has a 10-bit wide output enabling eight data bits and two parallel load pins. This device operate in either 8- or 10-bit mode. When the output data is shifted in 8-bit mode, the two LSBs of the first word are shifted out until the L bits are all "1".
