- When the current flow through the module, the SCR acts as a switch and conducts the current, thus allowing the current to pass through the circuit.
- When the current is blocked, the SCR acts to block the current and interrupt the circuit.
- When the gate is connected, the SCR acts as a timer and can keep the circuit open or closed depending on the amount of gate current received.
