The MCIMX6DP6AVT8AB is an ultra low-power processor designed for embedded applications. It is based on the NXP® Kinetis® core, which was designed to provide a low-power platform for high performance embedded systems. The MCIMX6DP6AVT8AB is a dual-core application processor with ARM® Cortex®-A7 cores at up to 1GHz, an ARM® Cortex®-M4 core at 200MHz, multimedia hardware acceleration and a rich peripheral set.
The MCIMX6DP6AVT8AB has 612KBytes of L2 Cache and 32KBytes of L1CacheRAM. It also supports DDR3L memory with a maximum memory size of up to 32GB. The MCIMX6DP6AVT8AB has an extremely wide range of peripherals, including USB 2.0 Host, USB 2.0 OTG, LCDIF 2.0, 2x I2C, 3x SPI, 3x UART, 5x GPI, 2x CAN, 2x PWM and PCIe. This makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, such as industrial automation, medical, aerospace and defense.
