It features 0.75% accuracy and a wide range of features such as voltage, detection, watchdog timer and reset delay functions. The device also integrates an adjustable threshold andHysteresis control to improve system reliability.The MCP120-270I/SN is designed to provide an efficient and cost-effective solution for reliable monitoring and control of power systems. The MCP120-270I/SN operates over a wide temperature range of -40oC to +125 oC and includes an on-chip precision bandgap reference and comparator to monitor system voltage and provide Active Low Power-On Reset (POR) and Active High Manual Reset signals. It also includes adjustable threshold andHysteresis control to provide system wide protection against temporarily supply over/undervoltage conditions.The MCP120-270I/SN also features a watch-dog timer to protect against system lockup, undervoltage detection for monitoring low voltage conditions and reset delay controls for, the exact timing of reset signals and the start-up of critical components.The MCP120-270I/SN application field and working principle is an ideal solution for many applications such as communication and industrial automation, medical and portable devices, telecom and media players, automotive, general embedded system and many other power-managed applications.
