The MCP2551-E/P is a full-featured, single-channel, Hi-Speed CAN Transceiver. This transceiver offers a high degree of integration and flexibility and is designed to meet the requirements of ISO 11898-2 and SAE J2284. The MCP2551–E/P can replace multiple CAN controllers and CAN Master series transceivers, offering significant cost and space savings.
