The MCP2561-H/SN is an automotive-qualified interface device for CAN, LIN and other serial protocols. It comes in two forms – an integrated circuit (IC) chip, and a stand-alone module. This versatile system can be used as either an interface, receiver, driver, transceiver or combination thereof. It is a useful, cost effective way to enable automotive systems with modern serial bus protocols like CAN or LIN. The MCP2561-H/SN can be configured in a variety of ways, to suit the particular needs of the application.The most popular applications of the MCP2561-H/SN are in automotive and industrial control systems. It is often used to provide robust communication links between components, such as controllers and sensors, as well as in communication links between microcontrollers, PLCs and other electronics systems.
