Working Principle of MCP3004-I/P ADC

MCP3004-I/P works by using a technique called Successive Approximation to convert an analog input signal into a digital representation. The successive approximation process works by starting with a guess at the approximate digitized value of an analog input and then comparing it to the actual value of the input. If the guess isn\'t correct, then the approximation is adjusted and the process is repeated until the correct digital value is found.
