MCP6H04-E/ST Application Field and Working PrincipleThe MCP6H04-E/ST is an instrumentation operational amplifier designed for use in medical, industrial, and consumer applications. The amplifier features an input common-mode range (VCM) from -1.8V to 6V and guarantees rail-to-rail outputs. The MCP6H04-E/ST offers a low voltage noise (150nV/√Hz) and a low quiescent current of 1.8 mA/amplifier in a 3-6V single supply operation in addition to a high power-supply rejection ratio (PSRR) of -80dB (at 1kHz).The MCP6H04-E/ST belongs to the family of linear-amplifiers-instrumentation, op amps, and buffer amps. These components enable designers to match the gain or the output characteristics desirable in their design by varying the external components. An op-amp typically consists of two differential input ports and a single output port. The output of the amplifier is usually proportional to the voltage difference between its two inputs.
