Working Principle
MDM01-C21 works by two plug contacts that securely fit and lock together. The plug contact is a pass-through contact which is operated by a tab at one end. The contact establishes a thermal link that transmit the data or meaning of the signal.
On the other hand, the shell protects the plug contact from mechanical and chemical damage and dust. It also serves as an additional EMC shield to protect against electromagnetic interference.
