Working Principle

The MFDDTA390003 is developed on an 8-bit bus architecture, based on a FASTbus standard. The module supports four driver channels, each channel can drive 1 digital step motor, each channel is composed of one digital output pin, one input pin and one control signal pin. There are several operation modes supported by the module: single step mode, full step mode, linear motion control mode, and rotation control mode. All the parameters are adjustable according to user’s application.

In single step mode, the user can do basic testing of the module, fine tune the motor’s operation parameters. In full step mode, the driving speed can reach up to 100RPM, and maximum output current can be up to 8A for each channel.
