The working principle of MI2815-760 can be divided into four parts:

3. Overvoltage protection

The third stage of operation of the device is the overvoltage protection. This circuit monitors the output voltage and compares it to a predetermined level. If the output voltage goes above this level, the circuit will shut down the device.

4. Current limiting

The fourth stage of operation of the device is the current limiting. In order to protect the device from damage due to short circuits or crush current, it is equipped with a Current Limiting circuit. This circuit monitors the output current and compares it to a predetermined level. If the output current goes above this level, the circuit will shut down the device.
