The MIC3775BMM belongs to Linear voltage regulators which regulate input voltage to fixed value. This particular one is a linear low dropout (LDO) regulator with fixed 5 V output, which is used to supply stable voltage to circuit deployed in cellular, industrial, and consumer applications. The MIC3775BMM includes various features such as an Enable pin for power sequencing and latching, adjustable current limit, reverse current protection with low side PMOS, thermal shutdown protection, soft start and transient protection.
