Application Field

Working Principle

The MikroElektronika MIKROE-1195 uses digital output through Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal protocol to enable can develop the temperature measurement. It uses the one-wire asynchronous serial data protocol to provide single-bus bidirectional communication which can be connected to different devices for communication.

First, the board sends a start signal from the micro controller to the sensor. Then the sensor sends data which includes relative temperature and humidity values to the board. Finally, the microcontroller device de-compiles this data and displays the output on the LCD screen of the display device.

Although the board is manufactured to operate at 3.3V and 5V power supply, its active voltage level is worked between 1.7 and 1.04V. The board also has an adjustable arm to match the board’s internal voltage level to the voltage levels the environment utilizes.
