MIKROE-1939 is an Evaluation Board – Expansion Board, Daughter Card which is a readymade platform to quickly start working with various technologies. It is suitable for all those who are learning, teaching, and upgrading their skills in the area of embedded electronics.

The board has two crystal oscillators which are used to provide the system clock. The 32 kHz oscillator provides the clock to the PIC and the 10 MHz oscillator is used for providing clock input to the peripherals. There are four LED’s and two push buttons which can be used to interact with the microcontroller. The board also has three expansion sockets which can be used to expand the board with various add-on boards.

MIKROE-1939 boards have a powerful built-in power supply integrated circuit (PSU). The integrated circuit is capable of providing voltage input range from 3.3V to 5V and output current up to 3A. The PSU also provides reverse polarity protection and over-current protection.

On the digital side, MIKROE-1939 comes with a number of pins and connectors. It has two MikroBUS headers, ten SMD pads, seven terminal pads, four SPI lines, four I2C lines, seven UART lines, and four push buttons.
