The MK1413S is a dual-supply device that requires VCC and GND as the primary control inputs. The VCC serves as the supply voltage, while GND provides the necessary ground reference. In addition, three additional pins—EN, RD and RST—allow the user to access various features of the device. EN is an active-low enable pin which can be used to enable or disable the clock output, while the RD pin can be used for frequency programming. Finally, the RST pin is an active-low reset signal which, when asserted, resets the internal logic of the device to its default frequencies.The primary programming of the MK1413S is done by using the RD pin. This pin controls the frequency of the clock output signal. The frequency settings range from 10 kHz to 150 MHz, with optional frequencies up to 200 MHz. The MK1413S’s programming parameters can be stored in memory and recalled via the RD pin.In addition, the MK1413S is capable of outputting a PLL signal with a frequency range of up to 400 MHz.
