The MLF2012DR68M fixed inductor is a very compact high-current device with a 68mOhm resistance and max output current of 35.5A. It features an extended temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, making it suitable for use in a wide variety of industrial and automotive applications, such as in Powertrain ECU systems. It is made of an insulated aluminum shell and a core made of Ni-Zn ferrite materials, offering excellent noise suppression capability at high temperatures. Working Principle

At its most basic level, the working principle of a fixed inductor is the same as other inductors, simply relying on Faraday\'s law of electromagnetic induction, where an electric current creates a magnetic field that induces a voltage across it. The voltage is proportional to the rate at which the electric current is changing. In the case of the MLF2012DR68M, the inductor is designed to have very low resistance and provide high-current output. Its Ni-Zn ferrite core provides inductance, which is then coupled with the extended high-temperature range to ensure the inductor can provide power reliably over long term use.
