MP3398EGP Application Field and Working Principle

MP3398EGP is a high-efficient, wide input voltage range, two string LED driver power management integrated circuit (PMIC) designed for high power LED applications such as street lighting, parking lot lighting, and other exterior lighting. The MP3398EGP incorporates a highly integrated analog, digital and sub-systems to drive two strings of LEDs in parallel to ensure reliable and accurate LED current control over wide operating conditions. The MP3398EGP provides flexible adjustment of current values via internal digital-to-analog converters (DACs) which allow the user to fine-tune the output current in tight increments.
