The data cable, which has four twisted pairs shielded wires, sends data or audio/video signals as well as carrying up to 55V of power. The MP8003AGQ-Z contains a power USB port, which is connected to the source of power and from which the DC power is drawn. Then, the DC power is sent through two MOSFETs to the data cable for the PoE device.
