The MPC8544ECVJALFA is an embedded processor specifically designed for high-end embedded applications. It is a cost-effective PowerPC-based 8-bit microcontroller with on-chip memory that supports multiple external input and output (I/O) ports, high performance, large instruction sets and low power consumption. The microcontroller is based on PowerPC architecture, provides up to 512K of external program memory and up to 128K of external data memory, as well as an internal data and instruction cache. The on-chip memory support allows the processor to load and execute code quickly and accurately. This processor also provides maximum system bandwidth, low latency between external RAM and caches, and the ability to process multiple data variables simultaneously.
