The MPC860TZQ50D4 is an embedded microprocessor specifically designed by Motorola, Inc., to increase the performance of systems incorporating the Power ArchitectureTM technology. To help reduce board space and cost, the MPC860TZQ50D4 includes several integrated peripherals. It includes four CAN channels, two 10/100 Ethernet, two USB controllers, two serial ports, two I2C and four SPI channels. It also has two SCIs and two UARTs (Universal Asynchronous Receiver/Transmitter) for serial communication. In addition, the processor supports external memories such as SRAM, SDRAM, and Flash memory.
